Contemporary Art of Latin America

The spectacular Frankfurt exhibition “A tale of two worlds” shows “Experimental Art of Latin America from the 1940s to the 1980s in dialogue with the collection of the Museum für Moderne Kunst”. The show, which is opulent and ambitious with around 500 exhibits, is the extraordinary result of a cooperation with the Museo de Arte Moderno in Buenos Aires.

In their lecture, to which the VHS and the Ibero Club invite you on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, Dr. Isabel Rith-Magni will give an art historical introduction to the complex backgrounds of important developments in Latin American art. The lecture is equally suitable as an’autonomous’ event for people interested in art and as preparation for a visit to an exhibition in Frankfurt. The lecture will take place at Haus der Bildung, Mülheimer Platz 1, starting at 7.30 pm. Admission is free.
